I'm more proud of being from my hometown then of my home country,though I am proud of it nevertheless.
But somehow,anyone from my hometown (Breskens, Bresjes in dialect) is proud of it..If I'd start a rap group it would be the Bressiaanders and all the while we would shout 'Bresjes!' like Tray Deee shouts out 'Eastside!'  ;D

No wonder... lol. I've been out there for family funerals, and lets just say it's way different than the rest of California. It's cool 'cause of the farm union tradition and everything, but I prefer the I.E.

Aight, it seems I'm the first one who doesn't give a fuck about his country/place where I'm from.
I mean, okay it's cool, you were born at a place, your parents kick you to school sumwhere and you grow up in a country. But than, so what?
I don't feel nuthin' special for "my" country. I probably could live everywhere and feel at home.
And then, like extreme loving of your country, what use is it? It's only to get more concurention with other countries, in my opinion (our country is the best i am proud of it... "no, bitch. OUR country is the best, so fuck you!")...

im proud to be an american, but even more prouder to be from NY, the country is like no other and so is the state.  i thought i was gonna like it in cali, went there for a month, fuck that.  nothing is like New york
