[K-LASH-NEKOFF]

I sit back and debate in my mind some of the things in life I have seen
All the strange things in life that have and could have been
At first I can remember the release of Mandela the political prisoner
Not long after his release he was on the run to commissioner
A master plan he had in place to be leader of the ANC
With plans again one day to set his black people free
Fast forward a few years and the fall of a wall
No more east or west germany was a chance once again for there people to stand tall
I can remember the tragedy but not the date
An unfortunate accident those brave astronauts headed for space what a terrible fate
My home country at war over land
I swear to this day the Falklands was politically planned
Other things were seen people killed and heroes born
It never ceases to amaze me how our lives and this earth is still torn
On know to the fall of two towers and to the people trapped inside
My heart and prayers I send to there families however they never should have died
To war we go again but this time on terrorism
Innocent soldiers from my home and yours sent forward to show there heroism
In all of these things the message is true
A tragic loss of life from people no different to me or you
Details that are missed and to the stories untold
I plan to leave for another rhyme as I have now made the mould
