Morissey??

Just wondering if anybody in here likes Morissey. I know he's been around FOREVER, but i've never owned any of his music.  Correct me if i'm wrong, cuz i don't know shit about him, but was he in the band The Smiths? Anyways, i've been hearing a new? song by him called "first of the gang to die" and another one called "irish blood, english heart" or something.  I got smoked out last night and picked up the cd that those songs were on cuz i was really feelin them.  I've been listening to the cd, and i think it is really good.  He's got a lot of political stuff on there so far, (i haven't made it all the way through yet) but he seems like an intelligent dude. I also remember he had a song out about 10 years ago that was pretty mainstream "the more you ignore me, the closer i get" and i really liked that one too.  Anyways, just wondering if anybody likes/dislikes him and could recommend some of his best shit. Morrissey = fuckin legend.

Most talented man alive in music. Yeah he was in The Smiths (easy the best bands of the 80's) but his latest solo stuff is good as well.

as for Masta Ace, im a huge fan but being respected by all in the music world isnt my reasoning for liking somebody...
