Favorite West Coast Clique Aside From DPG....
« on: September 05, 2002, 02:31:08 PM »
i know 90% of the people on heres favorite clique is dpg...but to get a feeling of what other artists are evident in ur music life drop the NAME OF ONE(1) clique that u like the most....(exclude dpg).....for me...since i dont like DPG the most anyway....

Afterlife/Project Blowed....Freestyle Fellowship, Neb Luv, Skee-Lo, Volume 10, Ahmad, C.V.E., Bus Driva, Chali 2na....theres tons of more artists...all on that L.A. underground tip.....

i just think lyrically theyre the best...musically they could be better...but they still are hard....

Dj Quik's clique, before 2nd II None have split. Another tight clique are the boys around Mr. Slow Pain. Y'all just need to check his "Old Town Gangsters" compilation.

I was gonna say Dj Quik's crew too... Mausberg, 2nd II None, Suga Free, AMG... all them fools are tight.

But from tha Underground Scene, I like tha Likwit Crew.. got their pics on my Avatar. Tha Likwit Crew consists of Tha Liks, Xzibit (??), Defari, King Tee... and then they're connected with Dilated Peoples.. mostly through Defari... and they got Phil Da Agony and Chocolate Thai... and they also got connections with Da Loot Pack... all them fools get down..

I'm feelin that whole project blowed shit but dont know much about them besides Freestyle Fellowship, Aceyalone, and Bus Driver.

And then You got Heiro from up north. Del and Pep Love are bad... Casual and tha Souls Of Mischeif.. I dont really know much about tha indivual artist but I've heard alot of group tracks and they're all pretty dope.
