TOO MANY EXCUSES

If u think this verse is dope id lie and say I took my time,to perfect my lines
If its wack Id just claim I rushed my rhymes,cuz im to busy to write and re-touch my prime

Why do I even care? Why is 'how dope this piece is', really on my conscious?
Il stil be gettin positive responses, from my crew, not from ya’l hating ass monsters

unlikely but If my verse sucks, Ayo fuck it im rusty, u all know I rarely rhyme
If its iLL as fuck? 'Well to be honest, it came naturally i barely tried'

What must I write, before what I wrote is heard?
If this verse aint tight? Its not meant to be, ummmm its a poem, better yet its a spoken-word

If I cant express my shit vividly, or if you read my verse and ur not really diggin'-me
nah need to say nothing bad about my verse, ignore it, and just compliment my "imagery"

MY POINT? TO MANY EXCUSES, when the intent of your posts should be to try and move-me
Instead the intent of ur posts, is to get so popular so you can justifably make fun of da newbie

Dont get me wrong, people jocking ur dick is never a bad thing
But when its ur purpose to write a damn thing? it gets maddening

Guns shots, killin, if I die I will cry... What are you trying to achieve-with-this?
Even if your shit is 20% wack, and 80% dope - your verse is still 100% meaningless

Expression is being limited and long bars are considered worn out
My verse must reflect a 'sketch of water' - the way they'l say my 'flows drawn out'

Tired of posts wiv superficial deepness, and the complaints of a sad kid
If I rhymed about a blowin a hole in ya head - would this be more attention grabbin'?

Tired of subjective reasoning that allows others to define what, is-deep
Tired of someone writing 30 wack lines to get a quick-peep, you see “im my own critique”
