yeah there are...

this has happened in 2 phases..

1) after discussion in this section we made it members only since stacks of guests were leeching the video links and pr0n

2) after making it members only the same shit happened. just that people were signing up and not posting to view the pr0n

so the decision was then made to make it 100 posts..

the system that allows this access restriction to happen ties it to member groups.. and 100 is the lowest possible. i cant make it lower without making it members-only again.

so 100 posts it is.

as with any section on this board this stuff is for members.. if stacks of people who arent contributing members to this forum are making its performance, and the availability of things people upload for them worse then the answer is to restrict as we have done.

yes some people who have been here a while cant now access the forum.. but seriously.. if you've been here years and not made 100 posts you're pretty unique..

It has its purpose.

I think personally it should be like, 200 or more.

It encourages people to participate more. You'll find if you surf around teh forums and like, create threads, commend on more threads etc. You'll also find that when u surf more, u meet more people around teh forums and it becomes more fun, like..discussing certain topics etc.

Dont tell me u dont have time for it because if u got time for porno and downloading music, you've got time to contribute just like everyone else does..
