wait ozir.. like your way, when you tag it with the year, it still wont show up as chronological order when im just browsing..  but only on the playlist.

My bad... you're right...

On your iPod: If you go under the "Browse" menu and then choose "2Pac", it will show all the albums in ALPHA order no matter what you do.

On iTunes: I have a 2Pac playlist with all his shit.  I can sort that playlist by "Year".  This puts all the songs in chronological order (by album).  If I go into my iPod playlists, my 2Pac playlist will appear exactly the way it appears on iTunes.

Adding the number to the beginning is the only way I know to have the albums appear in chronological order under the "Browse" menu on iPod.  I just don't do it because I don't really need it and I think it looks wack.
