Thank god Mike Moore didnt get nomitated for best documnentory....

But yeah its been a shitty year for movies this year. The last great year was 2002. That year had all the the dope movies.

Well Moore didnt submit it for Best Documentary, but he would have easily gotten nominated and won if he did.

how can you this year a shitty year for movies?  Have you seen Million Dollar Baby this movie alone is better than the movies the movies that were nominated in 2002.  Chicago won that year..what a joke.


and to 7even, yeasorry bout that, but just being nominated for Pirates was a huge accomplishment...but back in the day Marlon Brando would diss the oscars too and he won the award.

i've only had the opportunity to watch the aviator, collateral, closer and finding neverland (all dope movies and in my opinion rightfully nominated).
depp deserves to get an oscar. actually, it's long overdue.
 i didn't think of natalie's perfomance as anything stellar. owen, on the other hand, played his role perfectly.
