I went record shopping a couple weeks ago, picked up so many. I can't remember them all but there was some BB King, Hendrix, Bowie, Howlin' Wolf, Rick James, Peter Frampton, and more. I think I got 17 in total.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Yeah, as in vinyl. You really need to get a record player if you love old music, can pick so many classics up on vinyl for next to nothing.

Nice buy!

Yesterday I got me Boyz II Men's "II", which I only had on tape, and it's a modern classic. Also Brian McKnight's "U-Turn", for completion issues, didn't wanna cop the new one without having all the other ones.
