George Clinton - TAPOAFOM
Jayo Felony - whatcha gonna do
Prince - The Hits/ bsides disc 1 - 3

If you could hook these ones up it would be really appreciated.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

I got one request, and that is:
Ant Banks - Big Thangs
It would be greatly appreciated if you could hook that up, I've been looking for it forever.  I have a ridiculous amount of West Coast rap, so if YOU have any requests, just let me know.

alot of those cd's i like and very few i bought just to buy... the only cd i think i'm missing is warren g's first one... i'm really not into gangsta rap anymore... and hip hop is hanging by a string

i tried to get to more of those requests last night but my internet was fucking up.... i was getting the address for the liks...so after i finish my paper tonight i'll work on hooking up probably the next 3-4 requests

i'm amused by cats that feel gangsta rap is a fad or something.

the music is timeless.

all you're missing is warren g's first album?

nah.   you're missing his first two.  you're missing way more than that.  where's b.g. knocc out and dresta?  where's king tee?  where's kam?  where's kausion?  where's dazzie dee?  where's menace clan?  where's ras kass?  the eastsidaz?  doggy's angels?  mc ren? straight outta compton?  efil4zaggin???

the omissions in your collection are egregious.  and this "gangsta rap" shit is not a fad.  this isn't pop.  the music is timeless.

did you simply not include east coast artists in your lists?

this is half the problem.  cats thinking this music is a game, they want to pick a team and stick with it.  anybody that claims they appreciate west coast shit should atleast have some so so def (da brat's first album), the first wu album, some def squad shit (erick sermon or redman, maybe das efx).  probably some flavah unit (naughty, black sheep).  i'm chuckling because cats don't seem to appreciate how each region has influenced the others and there's gonna be some of what you like on the east and in the south, if you truly felt and appreciated the music.

it's not one or two cd's.  your west coast collection is a shadow of what it should be.  acting like there's nothing on the east coast worth listening too is disrespecting the whole artform as a whole.

gangsta rap is a fad

if music is timeless why is disco dead?

where's bg knocc out and dresta? they're on my Eazy E cd's where they belong...king tee? has he had a real cd out? kam...? don't like his shit...kausion, dazzie dee and mencae clan can hop on that list...ras kass? when he has good beats i might pick him up.....the eastsidaz? you must have forgotten your reading glasses, doggy's angels? you can't be serious...MC ren.... don't really like most of his stuff... and lastly NWA...if it's not on the greatest hits or 5 other compilation cd's i have with NWA on it...must not be that good.

busta rhymes, def squad, notorious big,  big pun,  soundbombing III, lyricist lounge 2, fugees, henchmen... none of these are eastcoast?

in closing, i'm 24 years old...no longer is it cool to through up westside when you're driving in your older cousins car...i've grown out of gangsta rap... the shit is garbage... i've already heard 40,000 songs about drugs... 30,000 murders that never took place...listened to 20,000 gangbang songs...frankly i'm grown up and the shit doesn't impress me anymore

if you think those cd's are that important and the way kam talks about killing someone else is so revolutionary that it will change my outlook on life...i'll let you buy it for me
