I see demonz each night when I fall asleep
They comin' for me and its my soul they reep
Its my integrity and pride that I try to keep
Cuz my heart is more than wasted, old, and cheap
Its my goals that I set and intend to follow
But as I move closer my ambition gets hollow
I feel like shootin rounds to make em get low
And give these tortures something to swallow
I wake up and im still stuck in my thought
Staring blankly as my brain starts to rott
In my real life i would have stood up and fought
But in my dream i just sit and watch the onslaught
I do nothing but listen to these devils talk
About killing the ghosts of legends mac dre and 2pac
Cougnut, big l and b.i.g. replaced at the top
DJ Screw & Jammaster jay all losing their spot
I let them destroy each one of my heroes
Turning my aspirations into nothing but zeroes
When i ask whats next they dont even reply
I know if i dont fight then i'll be ready 2 die
So i need to become a modern day exorcist
Give them something shockingly refreshing like sierra mist
They keep taunting me and now im getting pissed
I stand up for action and i throw up my fist
This is my life and i will fight to the death of it
My pride kicks in and imma ride for tha best of it
I feel my soul and i know that its been bit

The legends came back and Pac and I met
We vow to give these demonz something they'll never forget
Pledging to bring ten times the thunder of a jet
And then I wake up in bed to a warm sweat
It was nothing but my mind playing tricks
Im just a boy left grasping and playing with sticks
I feel like i need to be, gotta be up in the mix
So i throw on my hat and lace up my kicks,
