this is the same judge that gave Dany Heatly, who is a BIG hockey star, just a slap on the wrist some people say. He was drinkin and drivin in his ferrari and crashed right into a poll, killing a teammate...the parents of the teammate forgave him and spent a whole year with the family,  doing shit with them. Judge just told him to do some community service and pay the legal fines...they didn't even take away his license for life (which they should've done)....so micheal doesn't have that bad of a judge

The problem with what Michael did is it's very disrespectful.  He's paying his lawyers to be there, so no big deal... and the judge and the courthouse employees have to be there as well, so no big deal... but the Jury is just 12 regular people, with their own regular lives to live, their own children they're away from, etc. and they all went way out of their way to be there on time, he could have at least had the decency to call.
