That left little time actually in his life that he was living and beefing with Nas. I love how people assume that the summer of 1996 was all of 2Pac's life. It was just the high of it, and actually it was rising even then, He didn't even reach his peak when he died.

I would imagion that line was before the beef, and the Nas song was released in 1994, so from 1994-summer of 1996 there was no 'Pac/Nas beefso I'd imagion it was during that time.
