One of my favourite story telling tracks is from WC's ''The Shadiest One'' album. I forget the name of the track, but the premise is that WC and CJ Mac have commited a robbery and somewhere along the lines Dub C has screwed over CJ Mac and attempted to take his share of the money. That song actually has some cool plot twists! In fact, on that album there were a few good story driven cuts. ''Fuckin Wit Uh House Party'' is another one that springs to mind.
"Shit ain't all peaches and cream, and I ain't Sara Lee, bitch!" - Lloyd Banks

"I'm Morpheus in this Hip-Hop Matrix, exposing fake shit." - Common

"With consecutive platinum hits, I up my status. Ain't no more Calvin Broadus!" - Snoop

"Look at all these conscious rappers - guess who influenced them?" - KRS One

Ice Cube is my favorite probably the best story teller with Slick Rick...

I also like B.I.G. ... he covers every single details in songs like niggaz bleed and I got a story tot tell. He is definitely nice and another storyteller I like is nas who can get pretty creative with songs like rewind.
