yeah I got a couple of old DeBarge records, 1 of my ex girlfriends used to question my listening to it, but it's all good, but like quik said in Visualism: he's one of those guys who won't really be recognized until something bad happens to him (knock on wood).

I've only heard a few of his old songs from the 80's but the shit he's done with Quik always sounds nice. "Divorce Song" on "Balance and Options" is real nice. There's no doubt he's talented.

but james is the shitter...

the debarges r from grand rapids or somewhere.. in michigan

the whole family is good..

but james and el r the runnin neck 2 neck as the top singers within the family ..chico aint got shit on them

been a debarge since they useta bo-guard on that group switch..they el and james wasnt even much in the group..but they out sung the original groups members...
