They don't know where I been, they don't know where I'm headed
They don't know what I've seen, they ignore my being and dead it
One thing you gotta understand man, we are not alike
no matter how similar we talk, walk or the way we hold the mic
They say you are who you're with, that's no problem on my part
But don't sit there like a snob trynna judge my heart
I'm a grown ass man now, mama look at me!
Remember all the slaps and strikes you took at me?
Telling me this ain't the way you suppose to live in this world
The world is a big place, just be thankful I never died over a girl
Be thankful I made it through all the shit we went through
Not to mention all the officers n lawyers that met you
It's all over now, I'm on my own 2 feet ready for wutever
Maybe move out and stack me some chedda, wutever's clever
What's a baylien they ask, if I tell you, does it matter?
Will you understand the full definition ever? never.
Not until you took a walk in these shoes of mine
Not unless you drained the filth of society down your spine
To understand is to experience, without it you can't learn
Zone out with some brew and a blunt that's ready to burn
Whenever you see me, you can come greet me freely
I'm that same cat, still dyin to live for reppin that E-B
Fist to the sky, ain't scared to die, it's nothin, really
Cuzzin we forever hustlin, it ain't easy!
