WOS: What's going on fellas?

DJ Paul: Nothin'. Just chilln'. What's happening?

WOS: Same ole stuff

WOS: You got "Choices 2" out right now. How much did you enjoy doing a sequel to the
movie?

DJ Paul: Aw man we liked it. It was fun. It was a lot of work, but it was cool though. We love doing the movies.

WOS: You looking into doing any more movies?

Juicy J: We already did another one. We did a junt called the "Clean Up Men", a comedy. Our first comedy. It a come out the end of the year. We got a "Choices 3" coming out next year "The Return of Big Pat," and then we got another one called "Streets of Memphis."

WOS: Why did it take so long for it to be released? I remember seeing it was supposed to come out a year ago.

DJ Paul: We had to rewrite it because Pat went in. We originally had Pat all through the script in part two, and when he went in we had to rewrite it and come up with something flyer to make it still go without him in it. That's' how that happened.

WOS: Are you satisfied with the numbers that it's pushing right now?

Juicy J: Yeah, it did 100,000 so it's platinum for DVD's. So it went platinum in a couple weeks or whatever so I love it.

WOS: Are you going to do any tours to support the album or future projects?

DJ Paul: We did a little run before it came out, but right now we just in the studio.

WOS: You just did the "Southern Smoke" with DJ Smallz. Do you plan to do any more mix tapes in the future?

DJ Paul: We did one with Target Squad out of D.C. and we been doing a few junts.

WOS: Rumor has it is you're joining G-Unit. Any truth to that?

DJ Paul: Nah, we don't know yet. We talked to them a few times. Them our peoples and everything so we talked to them a few times, but we don't know yet.

WOS: More rumors. I heard you guys and 8Ball & MJG were going to do an album
together. Any truth to that?

Juicy J: We gonna try to hook that up. We just did a song together. First single called "I Gotta Stay Fly" with Three Six Mafia and 8Ball & MJG for the first time with Young Buck.

WOS: What's that going to be on?

DJ Paul: That gonna be on the new Three Six Mafia album coming out in October called "Most Known Unknowns."

WOS: So tell me a little bit about that.

DJ Paul: We got Mr. Big from Alabama on there, of course 8Ball & MJG, Young Buck, Ying Yang Twinz, and all our folk: Lil' Wyte, Frasier Boy, Boogie Man, Project Pat. We still bout to sew it up.

WOS: Playa Fly has said he would love to rap on one of your beats again. Do you see that possibly happening?

DJ Paul: I don't know. We never know what the future holds.

WOS: What's going on with the Project Pat situation? He gonna be free soon?

Juicy J: Yeah, he gets out in July, so he got a new single. It'll be out at the end of this year and an album come out in January.

WOS: What's Lord Infamous's status? He's nowhere to be found.

DJ Paul: He just chilln' right now. He got in a little trouble but he straight now. He just got out the thing.

WOS: Are we going to finally see the Crunchy Black solo album this year?

DJ Paul: Hopefully, Sony was on our ass about the new 3-6 so we was sittin' back, just drinking, and we hadn't realized we haven't made an album in two years. We actually finished the whole album on Crunchy and we turned it around and turned the majority of it into the new Three Six Mafia album. So you will be hearing
his flavor on the new album, and then we gonna finish his album up and bring it out probably end of this year or beginning of next year.

WOS: Who is Chrome? How did you all go about signing him?

DJ Paul: Chrome is an underground artist from Memphis. He had one independent album out with a group him and his brother (started) called "Shaking Chrome." His brother went in and did some time and he was just solo. We heard about him in the streets, and shit, we went and signed him.

WOS: Is he going to drop an album soon?

Juciy J: His album is definitely coming out this year, probably around the fall. It's hot and jamming. It's called "Straight to the Pro's."

WOS: Fans want to know how come it takes so long to drop albums. Is it the distributors fault or you just want to make sure everything is perfect?

Juicy J: Yeah, we just be trying to make sure we got the whole album tight. We'll probably record 30-40 songs and then we'll kick back maybe three weeks or a month and make sure everything tight. We may go back and change some shit, add a scratch here, add a scratch there, whatever. Then we'll bring it out. That's how everything go.

WOS: You been producing for a lot of artists outside of the camp lately. Is there anyone that you have not worked with that you would like to?

DJ Paul: Whoever got the check man, we there. There a lot of artists we like though right now, but whoever come with the money we there man.

WOS: here do you get your ideas for beats?

Juicy J: Man, just alcohol. Alcohol man, and just shit that go on in the world.

WOS: More on the production tip. Where do find those samples?

DJ Paul: We look to the old school music. That's all that we really listen to. We don't really listen to a lot of rap music. We just listen to a lot of pimpin'. They call it pimpin' where we live at, ole 70's soul and R&B records and shit. We fans of all those artists, and it's cool to get a little sample off them and let them make some money at the same time.

WOS: Why don't you think TV plays your videos a lot? They aren't much different from hard and street videos that's out now.

DJ Paul: I don't even know myself. That's why we named our album "Most Known Unknown", because 3-6 got a lot of hits and a lot of shit but we ain't got the proper recognition. We really just live off the underground. If we get a video cool. If not cool. We really don't give a shit no more.

WOS: I talked to Fiend a while ago and he said he'd love to do another Headbuzzaz Album. Would you be down for that?

Juicy J: Yeah it might happen. We just working, we just trying to get some of our artists out there now like Chrome. New Frayser Boy drop in July. He got a hot single called "I Got That Drank" with Paul Wall and Mike Jones. We just shot the video to that, so we just trying to get all our artists and get them straight before we venture out into other side projects.

WOS: So what's up next for Three Six Mafia?

DJ Paul: Really, just the movies and the albums, that's all we doing. We ain't been doing shit else man. We in the studio every day recording albums and writing movies and shit. Trying to get a little more into the movies. We got a small part in John Singleton's "Hustle and Flow" and we did some score music for the lead actor of it. So right now we just staying on some music.

WOS: What do you enjoy more: producing tracks or producing movies?

DJ Paul: Producing tracks, because producing movies is some hard work. Produce tracks, you can just sit at the house in your pajamas, and make a beat, put that muthafucka in FedEx and get a check back.

WOS: Anything that you want to mention before we wrap this up?

Juicy J: Anything with Hypnotize on it, snatch it.
