Something about Eminem and FBT(Jeff Bass and Mark Bass)
« on: May 24, 2005, 07:03:50 AM »
Everybody knows FBT iz the first producer of Eminem, and i think Bass Brothers made Eminem famous. In Slim Shady LP FBT produced 11 songs (dre produced only 3 songs), In Marshal Mathers LP FBT produced 6 songs (dre produced 5 songs), In Devils Night FBT's name takeplaces in 11 songs as producer,co-producer,bass,guitar,keyboard (dre produced 4 songs), In The Eminem Show FBT's name takeplaces in 7 songs as producer,co-producer,bass,guitar,keyboard (dre produced 3 songs), In D12 World FBT did NOTHING, Eminem didint call them to do something, In Encore this situation went on. FBT did nothing in Encore too.
Now i am listening to all eminem albums and D12 World and Encore SUCKS, these are the worst Eminem Albums. Why the last 2 albums of Eminem is bad? I think u will find the answer...

All Songs in slim shady Ep iz in slim shady Lp and they didnt mixed again... Dre don't mix all the songs, you can see it in credits... Eminem thinks that he is better than FBT or he likes Luis Resto and Steve King much more, but he made a big mistake, he mustn't leave FBT, eminem and fbt were a group, they got a chemistary, and i want this group back...

^well Steve King been along since Em´s first album. and FBT(who´s Mark and Jeff Bass)was along for much of The Eminem Show and that album wasn´t that good either. and Mark and Jeff aren´t dope beat makers and their beats are very very simple and basic.

i dont think so, i think FBT iz one of the doppest producers in the game, em's new sound iz very simple i think, but old sound of em(when he was working with FBT) iz my favourite... Anybody knows King Gordy?

The bass brothers definitely matched Em's style better. Eminem should just retire from production and let them do it for him again.

Interesting.. I agree with the origional post, this is a likely reason for Eminem falling off.  No doubt, you notice a considerable difference in "D12 World" and "Encore" from all his previous albums, I'd like to read more about this situation.  It's not just beats but chemistry, or maybe it was just bad karma for him to leave FBT.  It's kind of like when a rapper leaves the people that made him what he is, shortly thereafter he falls off.  Maybe the Bass Brothers were honest enough to tell him when his music was wack, and now without them he's lost his touch.

I've never heard of King Gordy, maybe I'll have to check it out.
