Brazil in semis after Japan draw
Brazil survived a late Japan fightback to clinch a 2-2 draw and make the Confederations Cup semi-finals.
Brazil went ahead through Robinho on 10 minutes before Japan, coached by Brazilian legend Zico, levelled with a 30m drive from Shunsuke Nakamura.
Ronaldinho restored the lead in the 32nd minute before substitute Masashi Oguro fired home with two minutes left.
Brazil, who secured second place in Group B behind Mexico, will now face host nation Germany on Saturday.

Mexico secure tie with Argentina
Mexico will face Argentina in the Confederations Cup semi-finals after a 0-0 draw with Greece gave them the point they needed to top their group.
Despite 30 attempts on goal, neither side could find the net in the tournament's first goalless draw.
Greece should have scored in the seventh minute through Zisis Vryzas.
But his header crashed off the bar and his follow-up effort was palmed to safety by goalkeeper Oswaldo Sanchez after taking a deflection.

Classy Argentina held by Germany
Germany and Argentina warmed up for the Confederations Cup semi-finals with an entertaining 2-2 draw in their final Group A match in Leipzig.
Both teams had already qualified for the last four, but a 76th-minute equaliser from Argentina's Esteban Cambiasso saw the points shared.
Kevin Kuranyi put Germany ahead after 29 minutes, before Juan Roman Riquelme equalised with a free-kick.
Gerald Asamoah then restored Germany's lead before Cambiasso levelled late on.
"The way we played in the second half has got me convinced that we're on the way to having a very strong team," said Argentina coach Jose Pekerman.
"In the first half we didn't do well, while Germany were in charge, but in the second we were just excellent. We have to be content with that. It was a very good level of football."
Argentina will face the winners of Group B - expected to be Mexico - while Germany will face the runners-up, likely to be Brazil.
Germany coach Jurgen Klinsmann, who opted to rest Michael Ballack, was glad to see his team taking the game to Argentina even without the influence of their skipper.
"We showed we're still strong without the captain," said Klinsmann.
"The team is learning tactically, as we showed with our movement across midfield. That was good to see."

Santos leads Tunisia to victory
Two goals from Francileudo dos Santos gave Tunisia a 2-0 win over Australia at the Confederations Cup in Germany.
Australia goalkeeper Michael Petkovic gifted Santos his first goal in the 26th minute, spilling the ball in the area after colliding with Lucas Neill.
And the Brazilian-born striker sealed the victory with a close-range finish for his second goal on 70 minutes.
Australia wasted several chances to get themselves on the scoresheet with Tim Cahill one of the guilty parties.
The result sends both teams out of the competition.
