I don't really have a problem with Snoop swearing so much, I thought it was pretty funny, actually.

His purpose there wasn't to be a politician, it was to do what he does, Rap.  He did that, well.

You must be jealous for the title.  Either way you lost, lol.

Anyways, What's stupid about what I said?  Snoop cusses.  He raps.  That's his job.  That's all he knows, and that's what he did.  How can you get mad about that?  He doesn't know shit about people starving in Africa, but they asked him to come perform for free, to help the cause, and he did.  He did his part, it would have bullshit for him to switch his whole style up and try to do some "We are the World" bullshit, that's not what they wanted him to do... they wanted him to come give a concert, which is all he can do to help.

I heard that Pink Floyd was offered a crazy amount of money (over $100 000) to go back on tour after this and refused. Not that I'm a big fan, but that's crazy that this is the first time they've performed in decades and may be the last time.

Also, there's some website claiming Paul McCartney was being a drama queen because people weren't paying enough attention to him or something, lol. Pretty funny.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

yeah and check this out

Although Live 8 was created for a good cause, it would be fun to see if the artists who performed possibly had an increase in album, supposes AudioAgression. As with the 1985 Live Aid, the bands that took part this year have seen their album sales exploding in the immediate aftermath of the music festival.

HMV has revealed that fans rushed to the shops yesterday (July 3rd) to purchase albums of the likes of Pink Floyd, who have seen album sales increase of 1,343%. The Live 8 effect is expected to continue as the week goes on, with HMV’s Gennaro Castaldo explaining: "This snapshot still shows that, like its predecessor 20 years ago, the Live 8 concert is having a marked effect on sales of featured artist recordings. It's likely this impact will become more pronounced throughout the week."

HMV's full list of the artists on Live 8 who received an increase in album sales can be found at this location. Some of the listed acts are shown below.

22. Coldplay 'X&Y' - 3%
21. Stereophonics 'Language, Sex, Violence, Other' - 36%
20. REM 'Reveal' - 50%
18. The Beatles 'Number 1s' - 71%
15. U2 'Best Of: 1990 –' - 116%
14. The Killers 'Hot Fuss' - 131%
05. Razorlight 'Up all Night' - 335%
04. Dido 'Life for Rent' - 412%
02. The Who 'Then & Now' - 863%
01. Pink Floyd 'Echoes - Best Of' - 1,343%

then in an interview david gilmore said that all of those extra sales are going to chairties

I have absolutely no problem with them doing it for the record sales.  Why not if you can do two things at once?

Lessay they want you to come visit people at the retirement home down the street (I've done that before)... and while you're there, they'll give you free lunch, and they'll be a free concert by a local blues band.  Would you NOT go, because of the concert and the lunch?  Hell no, you'd go "Damn, that's great!" and go and do two things at once.
