i wish dre brought back some of his old shit this tiem round. In nwa they were the funkiets beats ever , and dre got the drum llops ans samples spot on. it so matched nwa's flow cos they were smooth as fuck. then came the g-funk. no one can touch his g clinton/funkadelic influenced sound of the early 90s.
obviously hip hop has changed and bass preferd to funk 2day. but it cant mess with funk.
