It´s hard to back up the statement that Pac is a better rapper, but of course in many people´s book, Pac is, like said twice, "just untouchable", that´s why they will always vote for him in any kind of poll, and there´s many people on dubcc like that. While I don´t understand that, I´m not gonna diss it, it´s just the way it is (no insinuation intended).

My vote def goes to Nas though; despite a bunch of mediocre songs and a pretty wack album, he´s one of the few MC´s who really have it all. Great voice, ill flow, good lyrics that do go past the pseudo-profound shit every other hiphop artist will think of as deep lyricism, a unique talent to paint pictures and depict his environment, a big catalog of great stuff and last but not least what is by general consensus the best hiphop album ever.

Pac, on the other hand (I know I´m not saying anything new) benefits a lot from having been killed. Maybe if he hadn´t been, every two months or so a new "damn, Pac fell off hard" thread would pop up, like in Snoop´s case. We can´t tell. As a rapper, Pac wasn´t bad, but not all that either. He had a great voice and passionately written lyrics he delivered in a unique and intriguing way. But he didn´t have one hell of a flow, his lyrics were never very elaborate, he wasn´t an innovator etc...

therefore, it´s easily Nas for me
