my phone says SMS barred whn i try to send a message

i have tried everything but it doesnt work... i need help... pleeeease...

call your carrier and find out if your SMS service center number is correct

im in australia on telstra network... i think i need to go to a telstra shop, but i never wake up in time to go, they close at 5pm...
