U know the originator of the beat for "The Next Episode" complimented Dre on how he just took it and made it sound THAT MUCH better...

does anyone know the name and artist for the original song that Dre sampled THE NEXT EPISODE from. i didn't know that that was a remake. Although, if anyone has heard the TASH album, there is a dope track that uses that same sample, and the beat is very similar to THE NEXT EPISODE, it even does the thing at the begning, but it does it differently. Its a dope track. For you DJ's, it's a fun track to mix back and forth with, with Dre's version. But back to my previous question, does anyone know that original aritst and track title to the sample used on THE NEXT EPISODE?

He sampled from David McAllum - The Edge.

The song was produced by a guy called David Axelrod.

i only have a low quality 57 second clip of it.  I've been searcing everywhere for it, but i can't find it.

yeah i believe he siad it was "genious" the way he used the intro in the middle of the song like that.  And the way he mixed it was "amazing".
