Michigan born Khari “Needlz” Cain is trying to take the beats we bounce to today, back to the original form. Dealing primarily with analogue rather than the digital format makes Needlz a rarity in the production game. In his interview with Hip-Hop Magazine Needlz breaks down where his beats come from and what inspires him to avoid the all too familiar sounding sampled beats.

The infamous “Piggy Bank” track from 50 Cents “The Massacre” was undeniably a track which created a buzz within the walls of the Hip-hop world. This happened to be produced by Needlz and in this interview he explains about the reality of producers being involved in what are considered ‘beef’ tracks.
