Los Angeles or New York

We'll keep the NY LA thing going. If you had the opportunity to get hooked up with a job working in a recording studio with hip hop cats, would you rather work in LA or NY?

I don't really know, but I think if you want to be in it purely for business then New York the place to be.

NY for me... Bigger business down there, and more (and easier?) connections to the top of the rap game or even the main stream from there. It shouldn't be too hard to hook up with some underground rappers from Queensbridge for example - I guess people like Jungle and Wizard are still in the streets, and they got connections to people like Nature & them, and from there it's not that hard to get in touch with the real big ones like Mobb Deep and Nas. Just an example. It's networking that you'll need, and it seems like NY is the place to be for hiphop networking.

I agree. I think ny would be better for the business, but then again I can't see why u can't do great business there. Dre, quk, crooked i, ras kass, and alot of other great artist from the west. Plus I see the location of the studio having some type of influence on ur mentality wheni it comes to beatmaking. :-\
