Wow kinda hard to believe its been 4 years. but 4 years ago today an airplane crash took the life of my favorite singer Aaliyah. just stoppin by to pay my respect

I remember where i was when i found out she died, i was in mexico watching the mexican news and they said it and my heart dropped, i remember watching her on mtv promoting her new album too the week before and i was thinking of buying it for my sister for her b-day....well yea, R.I.P

A real shame. I remember they kept airing that "Diary Of Aaliyah" special on MTV prior to and following her death. One week she was all over TV, the next she was gone.  Incredibly unfortunate story.

I remember when I heard the news damn I was sick to the pit of my stomach I didn't want to turn on the news and hoping that it was just an ugly rumor.  That messed me up for a long time. :'(
