Damn, Rawkus really were the shit. I know they are back up and running but it will never be the same again. Pretty sure I'm only scratching the surface here as I haven't heard all of their stuff.

Opinions please and post up some more of their classic shit.

yeah they put out some really good music.
haven't really been catching up lately on what's happening over there.
last thing i can remember is their rawkus 50 capaign, which was a good thing IMO

That Black Star video "Respiration" was great.  I always had the song but I had never seen the video.

Yes, Rawkus Records was the best thing to ever happen to underground hip-hop.  They made music for the serious hip-hop heads and not just for the clubs and the charts; and they were able to have success doing it.

as much as I love Train Of Thought, I still stand by my opinion that 2000 Seasons is better than a lot of tracks on the album (don't go trigga hapy with the diss button, just sharing)

on topic, rawkus were fuckin' great.shabam saqhdeeq and nick wiz still remain some of my favourite artists to collaborate.they literally don't have any average tracks

I was actually about to hit the diss button, but I checked out the track and you may have a point.  It's just I consider Train Of Thought one of my top5-10 albums of all time.

Rawkus fucked up by not releasing the last emperor album.I don't know if I can ever forgive them for that.
