yo i keep gettin emails from people on this board.. ie roccy, incognito... that say nothing completely blank, and supposedly have like 120k attachments..

what is the deal with that?

Do the emails have a subject, is it possible those peeps have you in their address book or someone you do email has both of you in their address book, or have sent email to you in the past ? (I just confused myself !)

If so it could be the Klez virus that is going around, that will attach a random file when it sends. You can check for it with the tool from : http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.klez.gen@mm.html

sounds like Klez (maybe) if it is... its most likely not from the person you think it is.

You need to look at the properties for the email and find the real address - thats the person thats infected.

thanks yall... cuz i was like wtf

i couldnt even find an attachment on it though.... it says download this or someting then and says its a huge file well big for an email like 120k then i open it and nothing is there no message no attachment... oh well lol i guess ill just delete them

yea, i was sent an email with a virus in it... however im smart with shit like that... so what did i do??? i sent it back to the owner saying "you left this in my inbox"

Be carefull who the reply goes back to, with Klez it might be to someone who didn't send it and hasn't got a clue what your on about !
