there should be some sort of application process for being a mod (if there isn't one already).  ask some key questions like "why do you want to be a mod?" "what makes you qualified to be a mod for this forum?"  you know, shit like that.

post the answers here for everyone to read along with a poll "yay or nay?" and then have the people decide.  i understand that you run this place, seer but i'm sure you're not a supporter of dictatorships.  let this place be a democracy.  even if you don't do that, you should do the first steps and then make the final call yourself based on the his answers, the poll, and what everyone has to say about him.  whaddya say?
