I remember this came up a while back (a few months ago someplace else, that list of artists there), and since then some of those artists had been on BET... now i'm not trying to defend BET in general because its not good for the culture anymore, but I'm a little skeptical as to whether this is real or not.  I think a lot of these artists that they listed haven't actually had anything out *to* play on BET or they would, and the rest seems to be a wish-list that someone cobbled up.  I mean, BET does stifle creativity and shit like that, i don't deny that, but this particular list might be fake.  If any of these artists got popular I'm sure they'd get played 24/7.

I read the list awhile back and was skeptical but haven't seen any of those artists' videos on BET's programming since.  A lot of them don't shock me, but Nate Dogg?  I read before that those artists don't fit the key demographic which was young black girls (12-19).  There's supposed to be something for everybody.  I mean 106 & Park is obviously going to be poppish but Rap City too?  It's rediculous.  Like Slick Pants said though if any one of these artists had a pop song or were on a record with TI, Ludacris, 50 Cent etc. they would be played.
