That doesn't mean shit. Right now he's worth 100 mil maybe, but thjat's because he's hot right now and selling his catalogue would make him that hundred mil. In a few years if he dies out and no one cares about him then that catalogue will be worth less than MC Hammer's. I can't imagine 50 being any bigger than Tiffany or New Edition. If he's lucky he'll be remembered like New Kids on the Block, but that'll probably be Eminem if he makes another album like Encore.

50 has had higher paying endorsements, is and getting paid from the record label and his artists.  On that THS with Snoop he said that he wasn't even getting paid, even though at the time he was the biggest (Hip-Hop) artist in the country

It is something, but it's not really 100 million. He isn't going to sell his publishing and he will fade away like all other pop stars do. How much do you think the Backstreet Boy catalogue is worth? 5 or 6 years ago you could have sold it for over 100 million. Now it's not even worth a quarter of that I'll bet.

50 doesn't have 100 mil cash. It says net worth, meaningall his assets combined. Not his cash. His cataologue will depreciate, because he is a one dimensional rapper who is currently a fad and he is selling less with each endeavor. Watch the next album. I won't be surprised to see it sell under 3 million, if even.

Look at Nelly. He went from selling 8 million (now 9) to 6 millkion, to three million. If he sold the rights to his music just after Nellyville came out he could have bought a football team. Now he couldn't even buy a part of a hockey team.


And Notorious; 50 will never be worth more than Em, and the only reason Dre is worth more is because he sold the majority of Aftermath at a hot time. All Em needs is a new album that doesn't suck and a solo stadium tour he'll pass Dre too. Even if he doesn't do that he may pass Dre after 10 years, and I know he'll always beat 50. 50 is desperate getting already. Starting a beef with Fat Joe to try and boost record sales and stay in the media.
