Anyone looking forward to Babyshambles' Album?
« on: September 11, 2005, 03:31:40 AM »
According to Amazon, Babyshambles are set to drop their album on October 10th:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0009X1UKW/qid=1126434654/sr=8-2/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i2_xgl/026-9801242-8954042

I can't see this happening due to no other details being available about the album, but I expect it to drop sometime this year, possibly november or december.

Fuck Forever is an alright single, not as good as Pete Doherty's material from The Libertines though.

Babyshambles are shit. I blame Pete Doherty for been a scummy smack head type. Killamangiro is kinda okay I suppose. The Libertines were excellent though. Both albums are worth getting.

If you like Libertines stuff check out a young bang called the Arctic Monkeys.

Doherty was a "scummy smack head" when he was with the Libertines, too. But him and Barat made a great combination...the Babyshambles arenīt a shit band IMO, but it ainīt like the Libertines. Iīll give their album a chance though

Yeah The Libertines made some classic songs. I'm going to wait to hear the album from Babyshambles before judging them. My friend is going to see Pete Doherty next week, hopefully he shows up.

Do you know if the Arctic Monkeys have released an album? The only song i've heard is Fake Tales of San Fransisco and I liked it.

Yeah but he's got worse, plus he had another talented cunt next to him, not a bunch of smooching skinny smackhead leechers.

No album out yet. The songs floating around are from their demo that got leaked onto the net. That alone made them huge. There was a website where you could download it from but just tried getting on and it doesn't work. Fake Tales was independantly released, only 1000 copies made, but it got played by Radio One, Gonzo etc. Theres a new single out 19th October which is bound to be huge. I'll have a look round see if I can find a link to their demo.

Thanks for the information. They seem to be a band with a lot of potential. I'll be looking out for their single.

You can watch the new video for the single there. Videos nothing to get excited about but the song is.

Thanks for the link, just watched the video and I have to say that I loved the song. They do remind me a bit of The Libertines but could have the opportunity to be even bigger.

I think I might try and get tickets to one of their shows in the UK next month.

Have a look on Ebay how much the tickets are going for. I think all the gigs in the UK are sold out. They are doing a European and American tour in November, in an ideal world I'd head over to one but I'm probably going to be too busy, got a court appearance coming up.

Damn, I didn't know they were that huge already. I know they were being talked about but to be selling out concerts already, without even a proper single or album out yet is really good. I've seen a few tickets on ebay just there, I think I'll snap some up and head to one of the gigs with my mates.
