Hold up... JD said that nobody in the industry could do what he does, not Dre not Timbaland, not nobody.

NOT that he should be recognized up there with Dre & Timbaland, as this would be a bad reason for Em, Dre & Timbo to make a diss track.

I hope that's cleared up... I don't like this though... many a producer has proclaimed that they're the best... and as Rud said, Nate & Snoop has got connections to JD.

Nate Dogg was featured on two tracks on JD's latest album, "Instructions", and also produced/perfomed a track on Nate's sophomore album "Music & Me".

Snoop was a guest artist on JD's first album, the movie soundtrack for "Life In 1472". He also appeared on the Lil' Bow Wow song "Bow Wow (What's My Name)" and was in the video.

In my opinion, this diss was unnecessary. JD got enormous connections in the industry, and it will cause tension everywhere... but I give Dre props for finally having the balls to diss someone.

i wonder though, how come Dre and Em diss the hell out of JD, because of this one sentence, and Death Row diss the hell out of them and they don't diss back.

Ironic don't you think?

U-Ron

what does dre get from dissing deathrow? 2 of their fans?
What about JD? a lot of mainstream listening to him, therefore bigger album sales for eminem

How Is A JD Diss Gonna Effect Eminems Sales!?

Eminem Could Drop A CD Of Him Going "lalalalalala" (Like At The End Of Without Me) For 60 Mins And At Least Go Platinum

Em's Name Is Huge (Especially Among Kids) That Maximum Eminem (Interview Bootleg CD) Sold A Fair Amount Cos His Name Was On It - But The CD Was Full Of Shite.

My Point Is - Dre, Agreed, Doesnt Need To Diss Death Row But In The Same Way he Dosent NEED To Diss JD

"It Aint That Im To Big To Listen To The Rumours/
Its Just That Im To Damn Big To Pay Attention To Um/"

Dre Fuck Dissin JD For His Aftermath Comments PROVE Him Wrong In Reality And Make Aftermath The #1 Hip-Hop Label

peace

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.

I think that comment on the "What's The Difference" track on Dre2001 was meant that he isn't even going to bother dissing you if you don't move a decent amount of units.  Why Dis ThaRow when they sell 100,000 max these days?  JD is someone who moves units, so Dre sw someone trying to talk smack that has as much of a recognizable catalog of hits, albeit not as good, as Dre has.  JD does have hit songs by himself to boot.  If I hear Welcome To Atlanta agin, I'm going to smash my radion. >:(  JD will probably try to say something.  But, I don't see it doing much.  WHen it comes to Hip-HOp and respect, JD is Dre's bitch.  :)

Yo, this song is tight but Dre is pickin who he wants to diss, like a busta! I love Dre but why diss JD when u know u can take him out, when Suge and Tha Row diss u and call u a fag and say u want to be white and make songs like Fuck Dre and u still dont bomb on em! I just think Dre is a coward in that aspect!! I know he is a family man and dont want to get involed wit dissin Suge and Tha Row cuz it will get bad, but he should just chill like Snoop does!! Not hatin just my opinion!!

Can y'all see the irony in this?

Suge Knight/Death Row Records have taken continuous shots at Dr. Dre for six years, ever since he left the label in 1996.

Never has he uttered a word back at them in retalition. Now, because JD made a innocent comment in XLL magazine about him being the best producer out there, Dre disses him on a track with Eminem. (Dre's first diss track since "Fuck With Dre Day" on The Chronic). So basically, Dre hasn't dissed anyone on record in 10 YEARS.

Dre is a coward, a pussy, whether y'all like it or not... everybody knows he's scared of Tha Row... just look at that restriction order he filed on Suge... that's pathetic... he's scared of his life, made a dumb move, and to top it off, thinks JD won't fire back at him... he's wrong... just wait and see.
