his first shit had cuts. I wish he would get a band behind him (maybe bring mint conditon back together) instead of beatmakers and shit, but overall he makes good music.

Nope, you're probably thinking of Elzhi. Dwele has done some hooks on their last couple of albums though. Have heard quite a lot of his stuff, but still haven't got round to buying either of his albums. Think he's touring UK soon as well.
