Is Mack 10 Getting’ a lotta California Love?

I’m from the east and I feel west coast artists, well from what I hear anyway.  Mack 10 is back and his joint with Nate Dogg “Like This” is hot.  I mean the beat is hot and so is the hook and almost any joint featuring Nate Dogg is gonna be hot regardless if the rap is ASS! or not.  I heard most of his album and it is pretty tight.  Do you cats out there give dude mad love and support?

never really liked him. dont know why, his voice is cool and is flow is nice but a bit lazy. Maybe it's the type of beat he rap on. Altho i'm not from the west, but peeps never speak on him, nor do artists do collabos with him besides cube and wc

yeah.. dodesnt really seem like mack 10 gets hella love. i mean he does his shit with cube and WC, but i think they get way more recognition than he does.

he used to by me and my homies, im from Cali, as far as his music (his first to albums are flawless material!) i remember when "Kuruption" was about to drop, Mack was also about to drop "The Recipe" (he went platinum with it) Power 106 did like a Governor of California vote for fun with listeners, askin them to choose between Kurupt and Mack 10 as Governors, Mack 10 beat him by a lot....It may seem like a shitty example but Kurupt had "We Can Freak It" bumping, but shit Mack had just come off two succesful singles "BAckyard Boogie" and "Only IN CAlifornia" those two were huge in Cali...and he was getting love in CAli...but it seemed to wind down after "Paper Route" the whole T-Boz song and video was a little weak by fans of his...yet when "Hate In Yo Eyes" emerged it barely made noise, it was Produced By DR.Dre!! it got no love....it's crazy he went from almost an A+ rapper, MC to below radar after "Paper Route"...

Yea he doesn't get much love in Ca anymore from what I saw. The Recipe was dope, Based on a true story was dope, and his debut was dope. But he hasn't really dropped anything that made noise since 99. The album he had with a Timbaland beat and some other tracks was when it started to go downhill. His street crediibility seems to have dwindled too, and a lotta people say that he gets no respect in Inglewood from the Bloods there, but that's somethin I'm not too concerned about personally.

Mack 10's new album hustla's handbook is the dopest album out right now from any coast and thats no bullshit and i'm not even a big mack 10 fan but i went and got his album the other day put it in the cd player and was blown away by the production and his hunger on the mic definately his best album in years right next to his debut album !!!!!
