I've been to France once.  There was a demonstration, as they call it, by the Opera house metro station in Paris.  The firefighters went on strike, and were throwing fireballs..... literally as it happened, I was on the Metro going under the whole scene.

& now in two thousand five,there is real economic crisis & the first people who are touched are the minorites

I think that all the economic problems in Europe prove that the whole socialist experiement does not work. High taxes, high welfare benefits, tons of vacation time.....it all leads to shitty economies, high unemployment, etc

socialism worked fine after ww2 but in the age of globalisation it cannot work, theres too much competition from india and china if france forces europe to continue down that road it will only lead to further unemployment and social unreast.look at france and germany u've got high unemployment and in britain we've got near full employment despite all the off shoring trend, which will only continue...

I don't think either France or the US is racist. I don't see countries like Japan or Saudi Arabia or China taking in millions and millions of immigrants and letting them become citizens. They are the true racists. France, the US, and all other western countries are the most open and tolerant in the world.
