Wrong...Brandon Roy is a point guard who can play multiple positions. The Lakers organization are very fond of him, he's a nice fit for the tri....He'll come in and play some good minutes if we trade up to draft him, as suspected...I just hope we don't trade Lamar to do so...If we trade Lamar, I want nothing less of a KG caliber player in return...PeACe

wow the Lakers would be fucking stupid if they trade Odom for just some draft picks.That would really set the Laker back to square 1.Roy may fit the Tri offense but please do not get rid of Odom for a rookie.I just wish that the lakers can keep Odom and sign a big free agent at PG and a few season Vets that will actually get playing time.

Sam Casell was on "Quite Frankly" and he said he isn't sure if he'll be a Clipper next season. He's looking for a 2 year deal and Clippers don't want to bench Shaun Livingston another 2 years. Steven A. Smith asked him about the Lakers and he said Lakers are a possibility. He loves LA, his only worry is what the Clipper fans would think. He also said he talks to KG alot and hes told him he deserves better and he hopes that he gets out of Minnesota. Garnett told him he would love to play in LA with him!!

I personally think Sam Cassell would be a tremendous acquisition. He's that veteran contributor that we really need, along with maybe a serviceable power forward...If we can get Cassell AND KG, forget about it:

...That's a deep team. Plus, they'd have money to sign a nice free agent. And here's what the Lakers would look like:

It's not the best trade ever, but it's not the worst either...Think about it. They're trading an aging unhappy superstar for a bunch of much younger players with upside. Smush and Mihm alone fill in for KG statistically.. then they get Cook, George, and don't forget more cap space for them to sign players. Hell, maybe even throw in some future draft picks to make the trade more enticing...The Vince Carter trade was much worse. Look at how deep Minnesota would be, their bench would have starting caliber players at every position...I think it could work out for both teams...PeACe

You Laker fans think Odom is WAYYY better than he really is.  He's just another top 40-50 player in the league, I meen he's nice but LMFAO at NIK saying he will only trade Odom if he gets Kg talent in return LMAO Good luck!  Odom is to streaky some nights I watch the Lakers and I forget he is even playing. He is a good player I meen 14.8ppg and 9.2 rpg is very nice but again he is just a top 45-50 player in the league so I understand why you Laker fans like him but he's not as great as you all think.  But I understand it's just being biased I meen I remember that thread I started for best players at every position and NIK actually had Odom above Artest, Ak47 and Marion hahaha, gotta love Laker fans!
