Rush played for Jackson with the Lakers before he was traded to the Bobcats during Jackson's one-year hiatus from coaching. Now Jackson is back with the Lakers and might want Rush on his team.

"When I came back, one of my first considerations was, `Can we get Kareem Rush back here to play on this basketball club?' " Jackson said.

That's now within the Lakers' power: Any team can claim Rush's contract off waivers.

I feel your enthusiasim. I was really pissed when he got traded, this guy has serious talent. He's a definate boost for the back court. Kobe, Smush, Rush, Sasha. Espically since McKie is out.

I don't think you know how big of a Rush fan I am...He was my second favorite player on the Lakers behind Kobe, I used to have him in my avatar, he has MADDD potential. I don't think ANYONE in this world wants Rush to sign with the Lakers more than me...
