"The Bobcats are about two things — hard work and maximum effort. With that in mind, we think that it is best to go in a different direction with Kareem."
What do you got to say about that, NIK?

I think the same thing Phil does...

Lakers coach Phil Jackson had strong feelings on the Charlotte Bobcats' decision to release guard Kareem Rush on Saturday with nine games left in the season and heading nowhere with a 20-53 record.

"I thought it was vindictive," Jackson said. "I don't like to see it because he's one of the guys that we nurtured here. He was contributing to us a lot in the championship (run) two years ago." Phil Jackson's first question when he returned to the Lakers was whether he'd be able to obtain Kareem Rush.

Lakers need to sign him. I was pretty upset when he got traded...I always like Rush.

Yeah he'll be good playing behind Kobe. I think Phil is goin to make this happen. By the start of next season Rush should be a Laker again.  8)

I never cared for Rush personally, I guess that's just me. He's better than Sasha, but that's not saying much. A piece of lint is better than Sasha.
Being a LAKER is a privilige. Unfortunately some "Lakers" have forgotten that.

Next game is tomorrow @ Denver...Lakers should take it with the rest they've been given...Also, Kobe has a chance to pass Elgin Baylor's franchise record of 23 games with 40+ points tomorrow. Kobe vs. Carmelo...It's gunna be on TNT as well for you out-of-towners...Should be a good one.
