i hate to say it but i think lamar's done, he injured an old injury, thats his career, specially considering hes been out most of the season

That's his career? I think you're gettin' ahead of yourself.

Hopefully Bynum is okay, I think we woulda' won had he not sprained his ankle...Remember, the Suns are "contenders" and we were very close to defeating them with a tremendously depleted team...Keep ya heads up, Laker fans!
I think it's the worst part of the situation... Imagine how we would be strong with the full roster... but not having the chances to see that due to the injuries really get me frustrated... I mean when you get beat because the other team is better , I can live with it, but not having the opportunity to show how good you can be is unbereable...

i noticed from other places that a lotta laker fans are appreciating kwame brown a lot more after his injury, especially in today's game especially, as soon as he sat out and bynum came in, the suns immediately just stormed in the lane every single play and got a 10-point lead. despite still feeling banged up, he was pressured into returning early due to extra injuries for the team and he STILL offers so much presence on the inside.

Kwame is only 50% but even still, his inside presence makes a big difference.
Being a LAKER is a privilige. Unfortunately some "Lakers" have forgotten that.

Phil Jackson talks to Scottie Pippen
Jackson: Pippen, 41, interested in role with Lakers
Associated Press

PHOENIX -- Los Angeles Lakers coach Phil Jackson says he has talked to 41-year-old Scottie Pippen about making a comeback with the team.

"I did get in touch with Scottie," Jackson said before the Lakers played the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, "but it was just preliminary talk about how he's doing, where he's at and how he feels."

Jackson coached Pippen while both were with the Chicago Bulls during their title years. Jackson said Pippen is interested in coming to Los Angeles.

"I would say he kind of talked about the parameters of what he thinks he can do to help," Jackson said.

Pippen and Michael Jordan led the Bulls to six NBA championships. He was with the Bulls for 12 seasons, from 1987-98, and then returned for 23 games during the 2003-04 season.

Injuries to Lamar Odom and Luke Walton could make Pippen a more attractive addition.

"We'll take one step and wait and see what happens with Luke and Lamar and then go from there," Jackson said.

Odom, injured Friday night against Sacramento, was diagnosed with an injured left shoulder. He is to see a specialist on Monday and is out indefinitely.

"Really, it's at best anywhere from two to three weeks before we even know, unless this guy says 'Hey, an operation's important, let's get it done,' but that I doubt," Jackson said.

Walton, who has missed 17 games with a sprained ankle, also is to see a specialist on Monday.

Kwame Brown, however, returned Friday night after missing 27 games with a severely sprained right ankle.

Ain't that the truth. He is such a presence inside. A very valuable big man. A side from Bynum (who is still young and still developing) Kwame is the only big man that can hold it down in the paint for the Lakers.

Smush was talking shit to Phil during a TO in the 4th quarter, that's why he didn't play the last 6 minutes of the 4th quarter, And he also didn't get up during the TO's, he was just sitting there pouting...I think it's safe to say Smush will not be a Laker next Season!  8)  :)

When Smush Parker was taken out of Sunday's game with 5:40 left in the fourth quarter, he walked to the bench and swore at Jackson.

Jackson shook his head in acknowledgment and went about his business of coaching the team.

After the game, Jackson made it a point to talk to Parker about his reaction.

"I usually don't iron things out like that after the game," Jackson said.

Parker, who missed 4 of 5 shots and finished with three points, "just kind of got flaccid," Jackson said.

Looks like Lakers are in trouble, mayne.
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

Smush is so weak on the screen and roll, that"s comedy.. Suns took a 10 point lead just coz Nash owned Smush... then Shammond came back and played solid D ... i'm sick of all this BS... players should reunite and play like pro.. instead of acting like kids
