just got home from the staples center shit was cool i was at the staples center and this guys thought i was jordan farmer he thought its was me for a couple second lol..and i went to LAKERS FIESTA i saw Kobe bryant,Luke Walton,Ronny Turiaf,Sasha Vujacic and Jordan Farmar man that was cool cause that was my first time seen them in person up closed but yeah its was fun alot of Gold And Purple

unless he hated the clippers before the playoffs, its not necessarily bandwagoning just to root for them. many laker fans who are residents of los angeles happen to be fans of both teams, includin jack nicholson. this isnt ucla/usc or yankees/mets, clippers have always been the "younger brother" of the lakers cuz they were never big enough to compete with them, so some of us were just happy to see the aimless underdogs of la grow into play-off contenders

I hear you. I'm not a Clipper fan but I don't hate them and I don't think it's in any basketball fan's interest for their to be a shitty Clippers franchise. When the Clippers are playing good basketball, like last season and when Ron Harper and Danny Manning were on the Clippers in the early 90's, it made things more interesting. I remember getting a couple of free tickets back in those days and I went, why the fuck not.

I reserve my hate for the Queens and the Spurs.

Yeah for real....the Clippers are our "other" favorite team, until they start doin as good as us, then it's like "hoold up...."

They are basically like the little private school that your cousin goes to....you always root for them because ya cousin plays for em, and because they usually aren't anywhere near as good as your school....but if they ended up gettin some good recruits, and had a chance to beat your school, you'd have to turn against em...at least for a game.

Lakers are such a versatile team though. We can play a team like the Spurs and look like defensive masterminds, or we can play a team like the Warriors, and beat them with offense only...It's not that we don't have a defense, it's that it's used inconsistently... we don't always focus our complete efforts on both ends. When playoffs come, that should go out the window...Every game, EVERY possession counts. I like our chances.
