That was a PERFECT 1st half .. very good ball movement , great D (good to see Kwame back ..) . Ariza has to start at the 3 regardless Luke is healthy or not ..  very good slasher and never give up on the defensive end .. good to see Lamar on the way to be at his best too

im just glad that they all look to be on the same page.Does anyone here think Ariza should start even when Luke get healthy?I say he should and that way the second unit will be even better with Luke in it.

Yup. Ariza>Luke...Luke seems to have relaxed after getting that $30 mill contract. Hopefully, this'll light a fire under his ass.

Ariza is a better defender , hustles on every loose ball and we need his attack the hoop mentality and style ... Luke is good off the bench , he will facilitate the ball movement of the 2nd unit .. coz outside Jordan . the 2nd unit has trouble to move the ball well ..

Phil is already calling Luke Wally Pip  ;D

But yeah wcsoldier I agree with you. Luke on the 2nd unit makes this team better. And I actually like the fact that Ariza doesn't take jumpshots. After watching Smush, Cook, and Evans chuck up every shot they had it feels good to have a guy that wants to go for the high percentage shot. Attacking the basket = contact = getting the other team into the penalty earlier (Ariza needs to work on his free-throw shooting tho).

Andrew Bynum / Kwame Brown / Chris Mihm
Lamar Odom / Ronny Turiaf / Vladimir Radmanovic
Trevor Ariza / Luke Walton
Kobe Bryant / Sasha Vujacic / Coby Karl
Derek Fisher / Jordan Farmar / Javaris Crittenton

^ D-E-E-P! Our 2nd unit > the Blazers starting 5 in a few years (after we replace Kwame with Marc Gasol).

The foul trouble is the only thing that has kept us in striking distance....

But I must add... WHAT A THREE POINT SHOT BY FISHER BEFORE HALFTIME! He shot that shit from the Nokia Center...

That Ref #56 is being a real cocksucker tonight.... and our team isn't helping with all of these missed easy shots.
