Harper shows up at practice

The Lakers had just started to practice when Ron Harper walked in.

Kobe Bryant was getting treatment when he saw Harper and jumped up and bear-hugged Harper.

The two had become close when Harper spent two years with the Lakers.

The jokes began to fly, especially between Harper and Bryant.

Lakers coach Phil Jackson, who had Harper in Chicago and with the Lakers, looked especially happy to see Harper, who now lives in the New Jersey area.

Assistant coach Brian Shaw and Chip Schaefer, the team's athletic performance/player development director, both hugged Harper.

It wasn't long before Harper was showing some of the players how to run the triangle offense.

Jackson noted that Harper was one of the best at running the offense.

Pau said that Kobe was calling out sets and on court directions to him in Spanish so the other team couldn't understand them. I doubt chemistry will be an issue with these two.

Sasha had Kobe wide open for that 3 with 7.1 seconds...seriously one of the dumbest mistakes I've seen in a while. BTW, did anyone catch the offensive foul by Joe Johnson that was called AGAINST us and gave him the game winning free throws? I have no idea how that was a foul on Fisher.
