If I were the Trail Blazers coach, I would be happy and mad about last night's game. Happy because of the continuation of playing the Lakers tough and mad that they can't play the rest of the league that way....

Portland is a nice young team, but they are just that..They have their ups and downs and struggle to be consistent. They had that nice winning streak, and have a home record good enough to be a playoff team, but they can't win on the road. The Lakers role players have been too inconsistent lately, and they need to realize that the easy shots will come when they start playing better defense.
I got a bird's eye view

that is true... my point is though that maybe every night they should just imagine that the team that they are playing is wearing Purple & Gold.. they might find themselves in the playoffs..lol.

Lakers Are Not Playing Well whatsoever..
And they have The Hornets & Spurs coming Up Within' the next Days.
(Both Teams Playin' in Top Form)

If They Continue their Play, we are looking at a 4th Maybe 5th Seed Overall.
And A Number #2 Behind The Suns in Our Conference.

If They Play This Way against The Clippers And lose Tomm,  :-X
Their Momentum will be Absolutly ZERO going into The Playoffs.

Kinda Seems like this team is Banking On Bynum's return To make their Defense.
I think Phil Should Have That talk he Had With Vlad Rad with All The Role Players everyday For The rest Of The year.

And to those who Care about The MVP! If Kobe's teamates Don't Help Him/The Lakers To ALL wins From This Point Foward.
Kiss that MVP Award Goodbye again.

That Being said, This Team is Too good To be Playing The way The Have been..
They Have the Potential to Take It all. But Doing And Having Are 2 Diff Things.
Go Lakers!

I don't know about the mods but theres a forum member on there who is really connected. He was the first to tell us about the Kidd trade. He knew about the Ariza trade hours before ESPN reported it. He knew Gasol would be out longer than expected. Etc etc etc. If thats the guy they're talking about then its pretty much true.

It probably is true anyone. Bynum went to New York yesterday to see a specialist. That seems a lil odd for a guy who they expected to play by this weekend.

Thanks Lakers medical staff!

^yes...lets blame the Lakers medical staff some more...Honestly, I doubt Bynum is another 6 weeks away with the progress he was making.

^ you can keep being a yes boy if you want to but I think its becoming more and more obvious to everyone that our medical staff needs to be re-evaluated. when is the last time one of our players actually came back within the predicted time? gasol, mihm, radmanovic, ariza, and bynum are all perfect examples this season alone. then i look at other teams and see guys like Nowitzki come back after only missing 4 games when he was predicted to be out ATLEAST 2 weeks. its frustrating cuz this medical staff could very well be the reason we don't win a championship.

word to Karl Malone...

^You realize that Kobe swears by Garry Vitti, right? Vitti has done wonders for his shoulders, hands, arms, finger, you name it...Hard to down a guy who has such a long history with the Lakers.

Bynums injury is devestating for a Young Player..
I'm Glad They are Taking extra PRE-caution on it.
(I'm For Shutting Him Down For The Stretch)

When/If The LakeShow Plays Right, We Can Do It without Him This Season. (& Have Been)
I want this Season to End Already So next Years 2-Peat can be just As Sweet  8)

What did I say?

Bynum gets evaluated by knee specialist in New York

Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum flew to New York on Wednesday to be evaluated by Dr. David Altchek, a knee specialist who operated on Bynum in high school and serves as the New York Mets team doctor.

Lakers coach Phil Jackson said Bynum would fly back to Los Angeles Thursday and if everything goes well, will try to practice on Saturday. His status for Sunday's game will be determined after that.
