Will Kobe be out several weeks or will he play hurt?
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

Nate Robinson a free agent now... Lakers should get him FAST... he'd give the team some much needed speed.

wouldn't mind signing Nate, but he's a shooting guard in a point guards body..

the tendon in kobe's right hand would take 5-6 weeks to heal, provided he didn't play basketball during that time

from the interview's him + mike brown have done it seems he's learning to do _everything_ left handed to limit his use of the right hand, we'll see how that goes i guess

he has arthritis in two of his right fingers iirc because he refused to rest to let them heal, so no doubt he'll have his right hand amputated when he's retired

^Kobe is going to be a destroyed person by the time he's retired. Alienated from his wife and kids, not as rich as he is supposed to be while having a totally broken down body with no real job or stuff to do. He's not the red carpet, athlete-turned-into-actor/model type of person either. He'll be completely lost. He'll need a wheel-chair by the time he's 70. His body is a mess already, and he is too determined to give it a rest, literally.

Tough start for LA, they're gonna love having Bynum back. On a side note, what exactly is the purpose of a trade exception (LO deal).

it means the contracts of one of their trades doesn't have to match, so they can use the $8.6m exception in their favour. i.e.; send out a player worth $10m + the $8m exception, get back one player worth $18m

we woulda easily won these last 2 games with Bynum....not worried yet. team is still getting familiar, and we're missing our 2nd best player.

I think so to. Our bench is better even tho we are not as versatile as we were with Lo yell
