reggaeton, salsa, merengue, more hardcore rock(slipknot, system of a down, slayer), santana,  dancehall, reggae, RnB,

but def not a fan of country

In general, I listen to a lot of what my students listen to these days (yes, even this indie-hipster stuff like Death Cab for Cutie...I had to admit I like it).  Otherwise, I listen to some R&B and soul from the 70s', New Age from the 80s', and lots of 90s' rock like Matchbox 20.

Thanks to XM radio, I'm listening to stuff I otherwise wouldn't listen to. I even catch myself listening to rock or even classic rock. I can't say I know much about the genre though. I do listen to r&b/soul/old school funk stuff quite frequently and electronica/dance/techno every now and then. I enjoy that type of music more when I'm in the club. Every now and then I'll check out jazz. To be totally honest, I probably bump hip hop probably 80% of the time.

Everything. I took a break from Hip-hop a while back and haven't looked back since. I'm glad I don't limit myself like I once did.
