maybe the fact he wasn't always backed up by Eminem and Dre everywhere he went and in everything he did affected the sales too.

You shouldn't compare album sales from different years. It doesn't make sense. Of the music ppl are buying in 2005, 50 sold the most. It could be less ppl are buying music in 2005, which may be true. This year was very poor, I hope 06 will bring out some better stuff, and will sell.

yes, 50 did great but GRODT had sold 2 million copies more when i had been out for 9 months and 50 himself said that if The Massacre sold less then GRODT he´d view it as a failure.

my bad for posting this coz it´s not the final sales, Mariah Carey outsold 50 and she´s got the biggest selling album of 05 with 4,866,189 units moved while 50 sold 4,834,837.
