Damn, yeah, I even forgot about that video. Damn. What can I say, I'm speechless. I guess it's game over for D12 now, with 2 (or 3? depends on Bizarre's part in all of this) members dead from gunfire and one retired, that would leave them with only Swift, Kuniva and Kon Artis.

I don't think we should put this on the stereotypes of Hip-Hop though... It seems this is more stereotype of the hood life these young blacks are leading. Hip-Hop just happens to be the culture best representing them. It's a shame for Proof because he seemed to be the only D12 member really being able to put something decent down, lyrically. It's too bad he had a speaking disorder so I never really liked him, but it's a waste of talent and a waste of young life.

The detroit based group D12, which was brought to the scene by rapper Eminem is today mourning their freestyle king.

Proof which was born DeShaun Holton on October 2, 1975 took two bullets in the back of his head during a drive by near 8 Mile Road. He was reportedly accompanied by another black male who also died from his injuries.

The black male was recentley identified as Von Carlisle whom is another member of D12 known as Kuniva. It's been reported that the two have died immediately after their wounds.

Investigators are linking this inccident to rapper Benzino, who was spotted fleeing the scene earlier before the incident.

dammit this is terrible news....1nce again R.I.P. to Proof, I send my condolences....Who ever the other man who died was, Kuniva or not, R.I.P. to him too....This is another in a long line of sad days for rap music, they will be sorley missed

Benzino is linked to this?! WTF...Man. This is some crazy shit. Proof was very talented, and it was so unexpected...That really sucks, this is definitely the end of D12, especially if Kuniva was killed as well, as reported by geocities/breaking news. I predict Em will come back to make some dedication records, most likely it'll be good, because I believe he'll put his heart into this (as he hasn't done with his music for a while)...But damn, I'm just shocked, I always liked MC Proof. RIP.
