oh... u mean like 4 years ago?  I don't really know if I ever was a republican.  I agree with some conservative ideas, and was honestly pretty young and opposed to making quick judgments. 

I don't really have party affiliation.  After seeing Bush be such a disaster, and watching the entire republican party suck his dick, I'd have a very hard time supporting the republicans at this point.   Really I'm more anti-republican, than democrat... but I try to look at a persons actions and decisions and go from there. 

The decision making of the republican party, and especially the Bush administration, has been pathetic.  I've been saying this since pre 04 election.  And the actions of Bush and Co. have been disgraceful.  At least in my opinion... but obviously I'm not alone here.  Most of the country thinks the guy is a miserable fuck up and for good reason.  This administration has done so much dumb shit it'd take weeks of research to list it all.

the democratic party, and especially the power in the democratic party are not left leaning.  if these so called liberals actually read a hillary clinton or bill clinton speech, rather than simply being mesmerized by the "clinton mystique" they would be outraged.  outraged on foreign policy, defense, trade, workers rights, corporate deregulation issues.

there is no real left.

And I wouldnt necessarily consider my self left leanin. Im conservative on alot of things, and liberal on alot of things.

The Gap between rich and poor, american hegemony, third world fuckery, muslim oppression are all things that are a matter of human dignity not partisan politics.
